That’s great! The trainers and doctors with Active Fit are highly trained and can both help you further your fitness goals and trouble shoot any problems you may be having! 

No, Active Fit is not designed to treat injuries. Active Fit is designed to give people a safe space to workout under supervision and guidance of highly trained professionals. If you have an injury you would like to treat with exercise, your insurance may cover this. Give our office a call at (503)855-3043 to find out if you qualify! 

At Active Fit your trainer will either be one of our chiropractic physicians that are specially trained in fitness training or a personal trainer that is directly supervised by one of our chiropractic physicians. 

Not necessarily, weight loss is largely nutritionally based. You can’t outrun a bad diet! Exercise does build muscle mass and may contribute to a small amount of weight loss. Active Fit is focused on getting you stronger and healthier so you can do the things you love! If you are interested in weight loss, ask us about nutritional counseling and our weight loss program! 

No, insurance does not pay for personal training. If you are having pain or an injury you would like to treat with exercise, your insurance may cover similar services with one of our doctors under your Chiropractic or Physical Therapy benefit. Call our office at (503)855-3375 to see if you qualify.

Please wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in and closed toe athletic shoes or sneakers. Please do not wear tight fitting clothing that is restrictive to your movement.  Please do not wear sandals, slippers, or slides.
