Dr. Kohn is one of the few doctors in the Portland and Tualatin area that perform the nasal specific technique.  This technique has been performed by chiropractors for decades. Nasal Specific involves inserting a balloon that resembles a finger on a latex glove into the nasal passageways and sinuses. The balloon is then inflated and quickly deflated, pushing back inflamed sinus tissue. This relaxes the mucous membranes and can promote drainage of blocked sinuses, relieving much of the pressure and stuffiness associated with chronic sinus conditions. The results can last from months to years.
